It is amazing to once again experience the generosity and growth of the AFOL community. Another record-setting year for the fundraiser meant more Lego sets could be purchased and more joy spread.
When I look back over the years of C4C, I recount how it has allowed me to encounter so many really cool people. Each of those people has a gracious spirit and a desire to help give kids the awesomeness of Lego, which is so much more than just a children's toy.
This year, I was happy to be able to contribute to a local 'fill the trailer' toy drive. Here in Grand Rapids we were able to spend $2000 of funds on nearly $2500 worth of new sets. Below you can see how we filled the donation boxes.
I look forward to 2022 and what great things the AFOL community may have in store. Cheers to another year, and to many more to come.
