For the fourth time in a row we were elected to donate LEGO in the name of CfC to children in Austria. This year we decided to donate LEGO to another organisation, calles "SOS Kinderdorf". It is an independent, non-governmental, nonprofit international development organization headquartered in Innsbruck, Austria. The organization provides humanitarian and developmental assistance to families facing difficulties and supports children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it.
We picked about 85 Sets (and almost doubled up the budget from our side) from different size and age range for the children there. As they take care for children of any age, we tried to create a nice mix of different LEGO themes:
We have sent the sets to them about 2 weeks before christmas, so that they were able to overhand them at christmas. Unfortunatly they dont provided any pictures yet, but also told me that they dont do any photos of the children there (due to privacy reasons).
We would like to thank CfC in our and the organisation's name for this great opportunity to support children and make them happy. A smile of a child and see them happy - even in tough times - is the greatest present for adults and/or parents.
