This year we donated about 150 Lego kits to refugee children in Nairobi, Kenya. Kenya hosts over 800,000 refugees from neighboring countries where war, famine, and natural disasters cause people to leave and seek asylum in Kenya.
These photos are from the donation to @RefuSHE, a refugee shelter for vulnerable girls and children. The refugees at the shelter came from The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, and Somalia) where they fled war and persecution.
These photos are from a donation at the Kivuli Center in Nairobi Kenya. It was organized by a community-based organization of refugee women for refugee children.
