Creations for Charity was excited to work with CWS Orange County this year.
CWS Orange County welcomes refugees, immigrants, and asylum-seekers from around the globe into lives of freedom, hope, and opportunity through direct services, advocacy, leadership development, and relationship-building in our community.
Taking advantage of Black Friday Deals, the LEGO User Group of Los Angeles (LUGOLA) was able to turn $1500 in funds into 100 sets worth over $2500.
According to Ruja Moshtaghi, CWS Orange County Community & Volunteer Engagement Program Officer, "This event would not have been as successful without your generous support. We had children from Ukraine, Afghanistan as well as Latin America attending. The toys were also given to unaccompanied minors that our office serves. "
