Sorry for the delay in this posting. There have been... difficulties, shall we say. But, here I am now and we can down to it.
I was originally planning on stepping away from C4C this season, but when a group from Kalamazoo Michigan (40 minutes away from me) reached out to us, how could I say no?
Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries has an annual program where they take donations of new toys, and then have a 'sale' for parents who are going without for various reasons, ranging from recovering from fire to unemployment and plenty of things in between.
It was a real pleasure to experience again the excitement of sharing what C4C does with people in need. It was also great to offer another lesson to my daughter about what it means to give.
