2025 Japan: Fulfilling Wishlists for Foster Children and Orphans
This is my second year distributing Lego sets in Japan and this year I asked the local foster homes and orphanage to give me their wishlists instead of purchasing random sets to donate. I enjoyed seeing what everyone picked out and what a special Christmas it will be to receive such extravagant sets! With the rest of the budget, I donated ornament sets for them to make during their Christmas party and a variety of Lego sets for the children's hospital.

I am so happy I was able to donate these special gifts to children in Japan! Thank you to all the donors who supported this charity!
Asking the foster homes for wishlists instead of picking random sets was such a smart move. I read more about the over the hill wiki and it made me think about how much kids value choosing for themselves. Those thank-you letters must have been wonderful to receive.
